python-parse software package provides Parse provides the reverse function for format()., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-parse
python-parse is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-parse package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-parse *
You will get with python-parse package name, version, architecture and description in a table
